test

Tottenham went to the Stadium of Light with a lot of promise, and were able to secure all three points after coming from behind in the second half.
The Black Cats made just from the side that won against Manchester City, with O’Shea replacing left-back Danny Rose, while Spurs made a change to their central defense, with Steven Caulker and Michael Dawson coming in for Jan Vertonghen and William Gallas.
The opening of the game was a tight affair with neither of the sides being able to take the control of the game, but as the game went on it was the visitors from London who started dominating the proceedings.
Sebastian Larsson’s free-kick from the left found Steven Fletcher at the near post who got the better of some Spurs defenders and flicked the ball across to O’Shea who was totally unmarked and rolled the ball into the empty Spurs goal. The goal was indeed a bit undeserved.
Tottenham did start the second half well and got deservingly back into the game with an own goal from Carlos Javier Cuellar. An in-swinging cross from Kyle Walker ended in the back of the net deflecting from Cuellar after deflecting with team-mate Craig Gardner.
Just two minutes later, Aaron Lennon completed the comeback for the London side with an excellent goal.
Tottenham had a great chance to get into a comfortable position just ten minutes later. Bale made an amazing run from his own half down the left and found Defoe who forced an amazing save out of Mignolet, although the England international would understand that he could have easily done better.

The Peace Cup

My Portfolio :-)

The Peace Cup is a football tournament taking place in Chandigarh in the month of October. Its been happening since the last 5 years, so after achieving a milestone of 5 successful peace cups, the people in-charge thought of making a new logo.
and that is where I came in :-)

So,
When I started off, I had 3 main things in my mind.
- I want to make a logo.
- Peace is the name
- Football.
and I guess, that is everything the logo predicts.

Chopper

A Chopper is a motorcycle, designed manually from scratch, like just a piece of chassis, or 'Chopped' from an already existing motorcycle.

Chopper kind of motorcycles have been in our world since the late 1930's, and since then there have been two kinds of people related to them- the ones who love riding it, and the ones who love making it.
So we here, are gonna talk about the ones who make it, make the Chopper, it's an ART.

Earlier, a customized motorcycle was said to have got "Bobbed", they used to remove all the non-essential parts, like front fenders, they used to "bob" the rear fenders, and all other accessories, and a "Bobber" was made!
Today, the designers do pretty much the same thing, but its more modernized now.
Another main difference is, most of the time, a Chopper is built right from scratch, from welding a chassis, into a desired look, till designing and building every single element of the motorcycle, whereas a Bobber involved just modifying the whole motorcycle, and removing all the parts that are not required.

Choppers today are like a tremendous piece of art.
How will you recognize a Chopper?
Pretty simple, you'll see a loud roaring, beautiful looking shiny motorcycle, lots of chrome, the front wheel going way ahead to make it go smooth and gas tanks, exhausts, and other parts customized and carved out manually.
You'll find a lot of designing work done on the bike, painted with share art, on the gas tanks, the rear fender, and other parts if necessary.
Basically, a chopper will be stripped off from all the parts that aren't required to make it go, from front brakes to speedometers, and windshields to mirrors, all it has is customized body parts, carved out manually to give it an extensive look.
Chopper building is a big business now, when a chopper is built, it is built it on a theme.
The theme could be anything, from a motorcycle for a fire department, to a Commanche helicopter.

In the 1980s, motorcycle companies like Harley-Davidson began to offer what they called custom bikes. Coupled with an economic recession, this move nearly made chopper culture go extinct. It was only in the mid '90s that custom bike shops began to flourish again, and today the culture is as strong as it ever was.

Internazionale

(The Hall of Fame)

Well, above you see is one of my all time favorite logos. Most of you might be familiar with it, it is the logo of Inter-Milan, a Football club from the very famous Italian Serie-A.
The elegance, the colors, the concept are all just perfect, brilliant peace of art from the designer.
Hats off sir!

The design originally was given by a painter and one of the founder the club, Sir Giorgio Muggiani, in 1908. Since then not much changes have been made to the original piece, but even today after an astounding 102 years, the Badge still shines, and lets not take the credit away from the club itself, for making it shine. Inter-Milan has been one of the top performing clubs in Serie-A, winning both the National League and the European Champions League hosted by UEFA, this year.
The original logo given in 1908 had a bit different colors to the one you see above, but still was as good, and looked almost similar.
but anyway,
Internazionale, is one of the all time masterpieces, and so it goes as the first entry in my Hall of Fame :-)

The Rupee Symbol

And so the Indian Currency, the 'Rupee' joins the elite club of currencies today.
The Indian Cabinet introduced the new design today after selecting it from top 5 entries, following a national competition. The symbol will signal the growing state of India's economy.

The Winning Design came from Mr. Uday Kumar, a lecturer in Design at IIT Mumbai. He exclaims that - "My design is based on the tricolor, with tow lines at the top and white space in between. I wanted the symbol for the rupee to represent the Indian flag. It is a perfect blend of Indian and Roman Letters: a capital 'R' and Devanagari 'ra' which represents rupiya, to appeal to international audiences."

Measures are already taken to have the rupee sign declared as an international computer standard, and be embedded in the standard computer keyboard as are the dollor and other symbols of the elite club.
The Government of India, has spoken that it would take at least 6months for the whole transition to take place. The notes and the coins would not yet have any change.

What I feel is,
The symbol looks pretty nice. It would really nicely fit in the group of symbols that exist prematurely.
The idea depicted by the person is nice, and has been nicely implemented, lets just see where it takes our economy.

Love ♥

What is Love?

Some say its Magical, and Complex and you just cannot define it. Some say its a feeling of strong affection for someone close to their heart, and for some its just about passion and sex.
Yes, Love is everything one can think of.
The definitions and the point of views of a person change with the experiences they keep having. For one person at some point of time in ones life Love could be magical, for some strong sense of affection, and appreciation, and Yes, for some it could just be about sex. Its all about Time and experience.
Love can take many forms, magical, sacrificial, imaginary, and even psychotic.
Since, mankind came into existence, Love came with it, and since then Love has been just undefinable.
Poets rhyme poetry about it, minstrels sing songs for it, and the writers write stories about it, but none could ever define it.
I ask, why do you even want to define it?
why not just live with the mystery of it, and as life goes on, you discover it for yourself. As you go deeper and deeper into it, you find it to be more beautiful, you yourself tend to have definitions of your own. You find a poet, a minstrel, and a writer inside yourself trying to define what is Love.
Its all true, Love is Accepting, Appreciating, and wanting others to be Happy every single day.
Yes, Love is expressing! expressing how you feel about the one you love, how you feel when that one person is around you, how you feel when that one person just touches you.
Love is everything and anything that comes to your mind!
My fellow Earth-Mate, you can only know what Love is when you actually fall in it, you'll feel your life turn upside down, your mind occupied with silly but beautiful thoughts, you'll see all kinds of beauty around you, flowers, trees, sky and everything, but only when you actually are in Love.
otherwise,
everything you just read is Bullshit! :-)

from the Holy Bible -
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

and this my friend, is the Design behind Love :-)
Signing off!

Yours Truly
